Developer Dontnod announced today that development is already underway on a new Life is Strange.
According to a post on Square Enix’s official website, development began shortly after the physical version of Season 1 shipped in January 2016. There’s no word on whether this will be a direct sequel or if it will focus on an entire new cast of characters.
In addition to the announcement, the developer revealed Life Is Strange has passed 3 million “unique paying players” — a figure that doesn’t include those who downloaded the series’ first episode for free.
Sadly, the new game will not be at E3 in June this year.
